Description
xTwin House Floor Bed with Fence Guardrails, Lockable Gate and Clothes Hanger, Grey
A fenced floor bed with a house shaped headboard, a gate that latches and a clothes hanger that mounts on the frame or the wall. There are no slats, so a six inch Twin mattress lies on the floor inside the rails.

The problem this solves
What usually goes wrong
The gate on this bed is not hinged in place at the factory. It is fitted on the left or the right when the frame goes together, and that choice is hard to undo once the bed is built and the mattress is in.
How this one answers it
Decide before you start. Stand where the door of the room is, work out which side a child will get out on, and build the gate on that side. The rest of the fence runs full length either way.
Solid pine painted grey, with a pitched roof headboard, fence rails around the sleeping area and a lockable gate.
Seventy four inches to the roof
The footprint is 78 by 42 inches and the house shaped headboard reaches 74 inches. The recommended mattress is six inches thick, which is the depth the fence height was drawn around.
The gate goes either side
You choose which side of the bed the gate sits on when you build it, and it latches shut. That choice is made once, at assembly, so work out which way the room runs before the frame goes together.
A hanger, on the bed or the wall
The frame comes with a clothes rail that can be bolted to the side of the bed or fixed to the wall instead. In a small room that takes the place of a wardrobe rail a child can actually reach.
