Description
xTwin House Bed with Pitched Roof, Side Rails and 8 Wooden Slats, Natural
A low house frame around a Twin mattress, 82 inches long and 56.5 inches to the ridge. The published mattress thickness is six inches, and the frame carries 350 lb on eight wooden slats.
Twin, 38 x 75 in mattress82 x 42 x 56.5 in16 in headboard8 wooden slats350 lb capacity
Natural finish pine and plywood with a pitched roof, side rails along both long edges and a headboard and footboard to lean against.
The floor and the ridge
Eighty two inches long by forty two wide, fifty six and a half to the top of the roof and thirty five to the eaves. Those two heights are what decide whether the bed fits under a slope, a light fitting or a high shelf.
Unpainted pine
The natural version is finished without a colour over it, so the grain runs through the posts and the roof. It sits differently against a wall than a painted frame and it takes a repaint later if a child wants one.
Eight slats, fifty four pounds
Eight wooden slats on solid wood legs carrying a published 350 lb, in a frame that weighs 54 lb in total. Light enough to move between rooms once built, which matters on a bed a child grows through.
