19.5 in tall12 in square condo13 in perch bedHolds 22 lbsAnti tipping strap
Sand coloured plush over a single cream sisal post, with a boxed condo on the base and a rimmed bed carried above it.
Under twenty inches, twice used
The base is 18.5 by 13 inches, the condo 12 inches square with an arch about 10 inches wide and 7.5 high, and the perch 13 inches wide sitting at 11.5. Nothing here needs a jump. The published capacity is 22 pounds.
What is inside the bed
The perch is filled with thick PP cotton rather than a foam sheet, and the rim is filled through as well. A cat curling into a corner of a 13 inch bed is resting against padding rather than a covered edge, which is the difference between a perch a cat sits on and one it sleeps in.
One post, wrapped end to end
The single support post is wound with sisal rope from the base board to the perch. On a piece this size that is the whole scratching offer, so it matters that the wrap runs the full length rather than stopping halfway.
A strap, even at this height
An anti tipping strap comes with it. On a tree under twenty inches the concern is not a fall from height but the whole piece sliding when a cat launches off the perch, and on a hard floor that happens more often than people expect.
