Description
xSet of 2 Tufted Bar Height Stools in Black PVC with Wood Legs, 30.5 Inch Seat
Four buttons pulled through the back panel and a 19 in seat above four square legs braced on all four sides. The maker's drawing puts the seat 30.5 in from the floor and names a 41.5 in to 43.5 in bar as the fit.

Two sets of numbers on one listing
A written specification that belongs to a shorter stool
This listing carries a written specification block giving a 39 in overall height and a 243 lb capacity. Its own drawing gives 43 in and 353 lb. The written block matches the shorter version of this stool, which is sold separately, rather than the one on this page.
The cautious figure, with both printed
We publish 243 lb, because where a record contradicts itself the lower load is the one that belongs on the page, and we take the heights from the drawing because that is what was measured for this version. Both sets are printed in the specifications so you can see the gap.
Tufted black panels on square timber legs, at bar height.
Where the height belongs
The drawing names a 41.5 in to 43.5 in table. At 30.5 in the seat leaves 11 in to 13 in of knee room there, which is right. Under a 36 in kitchen counter it would leave 5.5 in and be unusable.
Read the drawing
Forty three inches overall, 30.5 in to the seat, a 19 in wide seat and a 15.5 in by 23.5 in footprint. The written specification on the same listing instead says 39 in overall and an 18 in seat, which belongs to the shorter version.
Ninety six degrees
Six degrees off square, which is a gentle lean rather than a recline. On a stool with a 14 in back that is enough to keep you from being tipped forward without turning it into a lounger.
The buttons are structural
Tufting pulls the cover down into the foam at fixed points, which stops the padding shifting inside the panel. On a back that gets leaned on every day, that is what keeps it from going baggy in one corner.

What we stand behind
- The 30.5 in seat height, the 43 in overall height, the 19 in by 16.5 in seat, the 15.5 in by 23.5 in base and the 41.5 in to 43.5 in table range all come from this listing's own drawing.
- The listing contradicts itself. Its written specification gives a 39 in overall height, an 18 in by 16.5 in seat and a 243 lb capacity; the drawing gives 43 in, 19 in by 16.5 in and 353 lb. We publish 243 lb, the lower load, and print both.
- The listing's title says 29 inches. The drawing marks 30.5 in, and 30.5 in is what we publish.
- The 96 degree backrest angle is the maker's own published figure.
- Ships from our United States warehouse, free shipping over $150, and 14 day returns unused in the original packaging.
Frequently asked questions
Which weight capacity should I trust?
We publish 243 lb, the lower of the two figures on the listing. The drawing prints 353 lb. Ask us to confirm with the manufacturer if the load matters.
Is the seat 29 or 30.5 inches?
Thirty and a half inches on the drawing. The 29 appears only in the listing title.
Will these fit a kitchen counter?
No. The drawing names a 41.5 in to 43.5 in table. The shorter version of this stool is the counter height one.
How do I clean the cover?
A damp cloth on the PVC, working around the buttons rather than over them. Blot spills rather than scrubbing.
