Description
xSet of 2 Swivel Counter Stools with High Backs and 105 Degree Recline, 26 Inch Seat
The back leans 105 degrees off the seat, which is fifteen degrees past square and further than most makers publish. Below it a 16.5 in round pad in tan faux leather turns a full circle 26 in from the floor.

A reclined high back over a swivelling leather look seat.
Where the recline earns its place
Fifteen degrees past square is a noticeable lean. At a counter people sit at for an hour that is the difference between perching forward over a plate and settling back between courses, which is what a high back is for.
The figures behind it
Sixteen and a half inches across the seat, 26 in up, 39.5 in overall and a 19 in stance. The ring sits 9 in from the floor and the badge reads 355 lb, which is high for a stool built entirely in timber.
A round seat you can wipe
Sixteen and a half inches across is a generous pad for a counter stool, and it is coated rather than woven. At a kitchen counter that is the practical choice, because a counter is where food is.
What the cross brace does
A ring footrest and a cross under the seat. That cross is the reason the maker can print 355 lb: it ties the four legs into the swivel plate instead of letting each leg work on its own.

What we stand behind
- The 16.5 in seat, the 26 in seat height, the 39.5 in overall height, the 9 in footrest, the 19 in base and the 355 lb capacity all come from this listing's own drawing, which also prints the 35 in to 39 in counter range.
- The 105 degree backrest angle is the maker's own published figure. Very few stools in this range publish an angle at all.
- The 355 lb capacity is a static load figure. Industry guidance is that a load rating alone does not indicate the life or strength of a chair in use.
- No swivel bearing type or cycle rating is published.
- Ships from our United States warehouse, free shipping over $150, and 14 day returns unused in the original packaging.
Frequently asked questions
What does a 105 degree back do?
It leans fifteen degrees past square, so it holds your lower back when you settle rather than pushing you forward. It is a bigger recline than most stools give.
What counter height suits them?
Thirty five to 39 in on the drawing. A 26 in seat under a 36 in counter leaves 10 in of knee room.
Does the swivel lock?
No lock is described. The seat turns freely through a full circle.
How do I clean the seat?
A damp cloth on the faux leather. Blot spills rather than scrubbing and keep the stools out of long direct sun.
