Cottage kitchen style, in a cream that is softer than bright white.
Cream and wood together
The frame is a warm antique white rather than stark white, and the seat is a stained brown wood. Next to a wood table the brown seats pick up the tabletop and the cream frames lighten the room.
Three shaping details
A widened backrest, a spacious seat carved into a W shape, and legs that angle slightly outward. The manufacturer says the splayed legs improve balance and stability.
Where the wood comes from
Rubber wood comes from plantation rubber trees at the end of their latex producing life. It is a medium density hardwood, and here you can see its natural grain through the brown seat stain.

Frequently asked questions
Is the frame pure white?
No. The photographs show a soft antique white or cream, paired with a brown stained wooden seat.
What table height suits these?
The 18 in seat suits a standard 28 in to 30 in dining table.
How do I clean the painted finish?
Wipe with a damp cloth and dry it straight away. Avoid soaking the wood, as rubber wood can swell if left wet.
How much weight does each chair hold?
The manufacturer's drawing shows 220 lb per chair. A load rating describes normal sitting, not standing on the chair or rocking back on two legs.
