An open back chair that keeps a small room feeling light.
Open at the back
The back pad floats on one metal spine, so you see through the chair to the room behind. Two of them around a small table look lighter than solid backed chairs.
A back pad that curves
The 17 in wide pad bows gently around the lower back rather than sitting flat, and the black metal bracket carries it clear of the seat.
What holds it together
Under the seat an X shaped frame ties the four bentwood legs together, and each foot has an adjustable pad to level the chair on an uneven floor.

- Ships from our United States warehouse, free shipping over $150, and 14 day returns unused in the original packaging.
Frequently asked questions
What table height does a 19 inch seat suit?
A 29 to 30 in dining table, which leaves 10 to 11 in between seat and tabletop. Height guides suggest 10 to 12 in.
Can I clean chenille with water?
No cleaning code is published. Vacuum often, blot spills straight away with a little mild detergent, and test a hidden spot before anything else.
Is the back fixed?
Yes. The back pad is held on a metal bracket fixed to the seat frame; it does not recline.
What colour is the metal bracket?
Black on this dark grey version.
