xSage Green Teddy Velvet Lounge Chair with Ottoman, One Piece Sponge and Machine Washable Covers
Two pieces in a pale sage checkerboard teddy velvet: a legless lounge chair 38 inches deep with a seat 15 inches off the floor, and a low ottoman 30.5 by 23.5 inches standing 8.5 inches high. Both are packed with one piece high resilient sponge and both covers unzip for the machine.

Floor level seating without the slump
Bean bags that go flat
Loose beads shift out from under you and settle over a few months, so a bag that started as a chair ends up as a sack. The back gives first, which is exactly where support is needed.
One solid block of sponge
This chair is moulded from a single piece of high resilient sponge with an inclined back built into the shape. There is nothing loose inside to migrate, so the back stays where it was on the day it arrived.
A soft sage green in a two tone checkerboard, in the short curly pile the maker calls teddy velvet. It reads as a blanket rather than as upholstery.
In use, feet up
The chair and ottoman set up as a pair. The seat is low and the back is inclined, so the sitting position is reclined rather than upright. The ottoman sits just in front, and at 8.5 inches tall it lines up with the 15 inch seat to keep your legs roughly level.
Two sets of measurements
Chair 38 inches deep, 30.5 wide, 28.5 high, with a 23.5 inch seat 15 inches off the floor. Ottoman 30.5 by 23.5 inches and 8.5 tall. The depth is the figure worth noting: at 38 inches this chair reaches further into a room than a standard armchair does.
Back angle and seat size
The maker's detail pair. One panel traces the inclined backrest, the other measures the seat at 23.5 by 30.5 inches. That is a wide seat for a single chair, which is what allows sitting sideways with your legs over one edge.
What the pair gives you
One piece high resilient sponge
A single block rather than shredded filling, described by the maker as not easy to deform.
Zipped washable covers
Chair and ottoman covers both come off and go in the machine.
OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100
The record states the sponge has passed this certification, which tests textiles for harmful substances.
Ottoman does four jobs
Footstool, side table with a tray, shoe changing stool by the door, or a pet bed.
Non slip bottom
Grip on the underside of the cover, which is what keeps a legless chair in place.
Nothing to assemble
Both pieces arrive compressed and take about 72 hours to reach their full shape.

Who is this perfect for?
Calm, pale rooms
Sage green in a soft pile sits quietly beside wood and cream without behaving like a statement piece.
Long evenings with feet up
A 15 inch seat and an 8.5 inch ottoman keep your legs roughly level, which is what stops the ankles aching.
Anyone who has washed a sofa cover
Both covers unzip, so the pale colour is not a decision you regret after the first spill.
What we stand behind
- Every measurement comes from the manufacturer's own Product Dimensions drawing shown in the photos.
- OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 applies to the sponge as stated in the record, and is a substance test rather than a durability rating.
- No weight capacity, sponge density, carton size or net weight is published, so none is quoted.
- Ships from our United States warehouse, free shipping over $150, and 14 day returns unused in the original packaging.
- 14 day returns, unused and in the original packaging.
Frequently asked questions
Does the teddy velvet pile flatten?
Short curly pile fabrics crush where weight sits, in the seat and along the front edge. Most of that is compression rather than fibre loss and it lifts with a soft brush. Washing the cover and drying it flat also restores the loft.
Is there a weight limit?
None is published for either piece, so no figure is quoted here. The maker describes the filling as one piece high resilient sponge that is not easy to deform, but that is a description and not a rating.
How much floor space does it need?
The chair alone is 38 inches deep and 30.5 wide, with the ottoman adding another 23.5 inches in front when it is in use. Mark out roughly 30 by 62 inches for the pair set up for lounging.
Why does it arrive flat?
Both pieces are vacuum compressed for shipping, which is what lets a chair this size travel in a manageable carton. Allow about 72 hours on a level floor for the sponge to draw air back in and reach full shape.
