Eighty six and a half by sixty four
That is the floor this bed needs for a 60 by 80 inch Queen mattress, and the extra length is the depth of the two tier headboard. The rails run 13.5 inches off the ground with four fabric drawers beneath them, each 29.5 by 20 inches inside.
Linen rather than velvet
The same frame with a grey linen headboard in place of cream velvet, quilted in diamonds over high density sponge. Linen is the easier of the two to keep clean on a bed that gets leaned on every night, and it takes a mark less readily.
Five legs and foam pads
Eleven metal slats snap into the rails over five middle support legs, with foam between the metal parts to stop the ticking a steel frame otherwise makes. The published capacity for the Queen is 1100 lb.
Light where you need it
The strip runs behind the headboard shelf and along the base. At the lowest setting it is enough to find a drawer or a light switch without waking anyone, which is the useful half of an LED bed.
