A table built to their scale
The top sits 18.5 inches from the ground and the benches 9.4 inches, so a child climbs in, sits square and reaches their plate.
The whole set is moulded PP, which the manufacturer lists as non-toxic, in a bright mix of red, blue and green. Two benches are built into the frame, so there is nothing to line up and nothing to tip over. The umbrella slides through the hole in the middle of the table and folds down on six nylon ribs.
Shade when you want it
The 42 inch umbrella brings the whole set to 54 inches tall with the canopy up. Pull the pole out and the table drops back to a plain play table you can carry indoors.
The numbers that decide the fit
The frame covers 31 inches by 26.5 inches of patio. Each bench carries up to 110 lb and the table top up to 66 lb, which is four small friends and a tray of sandwiches.
It works inside too
With the umbrella off it becomes a craft table in the playroom. The PP top takes paint, glue and a damp cloth without marking, so a rainy afternoon does not need a different table.
