The body is grey MDF with white doors and a printed herringbone splashback. A raised back shelf carries a microwave with a digital face and three storage jars. Along the counter are a two ring stove, a chrome tap over a moulded sink and a row of five turning knobs.
Lights and sound at the stove
The hob is a printed panel with red burner rings that light up, and the five knobs below turn between on and off. The pot and the pan that come in the box sit flat on it, so a meal can start the moment it is built.

A microwave above, a stove and sink on the counter, a pretend telephone on the side and the water dispenser in the middle. The dispenser needs three AAA batteries, which are not supplied, so put a pack in the cupboard before the birthday.
