The drawer that opens into a wall
Storage beds assume a free side
Most beds with drawers have them fixed on one side at the factory. Push the bed into a corner, which is what small rooms force you to do, and half the storage becomes unreachable.
Both drawers move sides
These two drawers roll on wheels and are made to be fitted on whichever side of the frame is open. If the bed goes against a wall, both drawers go on the free side, and the built-in stoppers keep them from running too far under the deck.

Wheels, and something to stop them
