What a bare metal drawer does to bedding
Storage that marks what it stores
Under-bed drawers on a metal frame are usually a bare tray. Folded linen catches on the seams, picks up metal dust and comes out looking older than it is.
A liner in every drawer
All four drawers on this frame come with fabric liners fitted, and the manufacturer shows the comparison against an unlined tray on its own panel. Each drawer also has a stopper behind it so a loaded one does not disappear under the deck.
Black steel with rustic brown board on a two tier headboard, a light channel under the shelf and four drawers rolling out from below.
Eighty one by fifty five and a half
That is the whole footprint, for a 54 by 75 inch Double mattress. The headboard reaches 40 inches with a 9 inch gap between its shelf and the deck, and there are 11.5 inches of clear floor underneath. The frame itself weighs 92.5 lb, which is worth knowing before you carry it upstairs.
Lined, not bare
The panel makes the comparison directly: this drawer has a fabric liner and the alternative does not. A liner keeps a folded duvet off bare metal and stops the dust that collects in an open frame settling into what you store. Each drawer runs on four casters, so a loaded one still pulls with one hand.
What is wired into the shelf
Two mains outlets, a USB port and a 15V Type-C port. The manufacturer describes the 4.5 foot power cord as UL certified, which is their statement rather than ours. Two shelf tiers sit above the sockets for books and a clock.
Five things under the mattress
Twelve metal slats, five middle support legs and adjustable pads under them, plus foam where the deck bears down and a stopper behind each drawer. Between them they account for the published 1100 lb and the noise-free claim. The pads are the part worth using properly: wind them down until the frame stops rocking before you put the mattress on.
