Rope between the levels
The exposed sections of post between platforms are wound with natural sisal, so the climbing surface doubles as the scratching surface. Scratching guidance is generally to place a post where the cat already spends time, and here the two are the same object.
A corner box with two arches
The condo has an arch cut on each of two adjacent faces. Both cats in the photograph are using it at once, which is the practical point: a single door box is a one cat box, and a two door box is not.
Colour that is deliberate
