Adjusters and grit
On most loungers the backrest mechanism is the first thing to fail. Notches fill with sand, hinges rust, and after a couple of seasons the five positions have become two that hold and three that slip.
Nothing to adjust
This chair has no backrest mechanism at all. It is a continuous S shaped frame with a cushion laid over it, so the only hinge on the whole thing is the one it folds at. The trade is that the angle is fixed, which suits sunbathing and dozing more than sitting up with a coffee.
