One table, two people
On a double lounger anything you are drinking has to go on the ground or on a table at one end. Whoever is on the far side reaches across, and sooner or later somebody knocks something over.
A tray on each side
This one carries a folding tray on both outside edges, each with a shelf underneath, so both people have somewhere to put a glass without leaning. The trays fold flat against the frame when they are not wanted, which keeps the outside edges clear for getting on and off.

The trays
