How much floor does the bed need?

Sixty-one inches across and 85 inches out from the wall once it is open, which is more than seven feet. That is the measurement to mark on the floor before ordering, because the sofa footprint tells you nothing about the bed footprint.

Does the black fade?

No light fastness rating is published, so nothing is promised. As a category, dark dyes on a pile fabric lose depth at the tips first in strong sun, which shows as a grey cast. Keeping it out of a hard south facing window slows that down.

Can I wash the corduroy?
