What ceiling height do I need for a nine foot tree?
About ten feet. Guides advise keeping roughly twelve inches of clear air above the tip, and that is before you add a topper. Measure to the ceiling itself, not to a beam or a light fitting.
How do I reach the top to decorate it?
With a step ladder, and it is easier to decorate each section as you build the tree rather than after. Two pairs of gloves come with it for handling the tips.
