How heavy a base
A stand that is not enough
A 9 foot canopy standing free needs real weight under it, and guessing usually means finding out during the first gust.
Above 33 lb, and more if free standing
This listing's drawing asks for a base above 33 lb, which suits a pole passing through a table. Standing alone on a deck, general ballast guidance points higher.
Nine feet of canopy suits a 42 to 54 inch table with four to six chairs, and the edge sits 6.6 feet up.
Dining set
Over a patio dining table and chairs beside a pool.
Measured
9 feet across, 7.7 feet tall, 6.6 feet to the canopy edge.
Vent and fabric
A vented crown and 180g polyester.
Tilt
The canopy angled on the push button.
What you get
8 sturdy ribs
On a 1.5 inch powder-coated iron pole.
Push button tilt
Blocks the sun from any direction as it moves.
Crank lift
Opens and closes the canopy in seconds.
Vented canopy, straps
An air vent at the crown and sewn-in hook and loop straps.
