Ribs that snap
One gust, one broken rib
On an eight rib umbrella each rib carries a large panel of fabric, and a sharp gust tends to break one of them.
Eighteen fiberglass ribs
Fiberglass flexes instead of bending permanently, and eighteen of them share the load, which the listing describes as excellent wind resistance.
Turquoise suits a pool deck. Nine feet of canopy covers a six seat table, with the edge at 6.6 feet.
Lounge set
Over a wicker lounge group beside a white house.
Measured
9 feet across, 8.2 feet tall, 6.6 feet to the canopy edge.
Eighteen ribs
The rib pattern from below, with wind and rust resistance icons.
What you get

Aluminum pole
Lightweight and rust resistant, 1.5 inches across.
Tilt and crank
Connect the two poles, crank it open and tilt it against the sun.
