The box, measured
29.5 in wide, 33.5 in deep and 26 in high. That is deeper than any sofa in the set and taller than all of them, which is what makes it work as a side table rather than as something parked at the end of the row.
Where the box ends up
In storage mode it is the piece everything else lines up against, because the nested block is exactly its 26 in height. That is not a coincidence, and it is why the cover in the box fits a flat topped stack.
