Plenty of cats will not settle inside a condo with a single opening. In a household with more than one cat, going into a dead end means the other one can stand in the doorway, and cats work that out quickly.
How this one answers it
Both houses on this frame are two cave designs with an opening at each end. A cat can pass straight through, which is the shape a wary cat will actually use and sleep in.

Caves at both ends
The maker calls these two cave houses: each box has an opening at both ends rather than one. A cat that will not go into a dead end will use a tunnel, and in a house with more than one cat it means nobody gets cornered in a box halfway up the tree.
Both perches wash
The two top perches are covered in plush over thick cotton and the maker states both are removable and machine washable. Two summits rather than one also settles the usual argument about who gets the highest spot in a two cat household.
An extended base, and a strap
