Six bands, top to bottom
Purple at the crown, then blue, green, yellow, orange and red stepping down to the floor. The bands are wide and clean rather than blended, which is why the shape still reads as a tree from across a room. The drawing puts it at 7 feet tall and 3.2 feet wide, a narrower spread than a full profile fir of the same height.
The branches drop into place
The arrows on this panel show what hinged means in practice. Every branch is already fixed to the trunk, folded up for the box, and swings down under its own weight when the section is stood up. Four sections stack together, so the tree is up in four lifts and the rest of the time goes on spreading the tips.
Dressing it without fighting the colour
Six colours already on the tree means restraint works better than more colour. Plain white or silver baubles, a string of warm white lights and nothing else is enough. The photo shows the usual approach: a few round ornaments spread over the bands, the gifts doing the rest at floor level.

Frequently asked questions
Does it come with lights?
No. The manufacturer's own image carries a note reading no lights included, and there is no light string in the package. Warm white or plain white suits the banded colour better than a multicolour set, which fights it.
How much room does it need?
Seven feet tall and 3.2 feet across, so a clear circle of roughly three and a half feet. Sizing guides suggest leaving about a foot above the tip for a topper, which puts this one under an 8 foot ceiling.
Will the colours fade?
The manufacturer states new PVC rather than recycled, which it links to brighter and more stable colour. Keeping the tree out of direct sun and storing it somewhere cool and dry is the usual advice for holding colour on any artificial tree.
Is it really a traditional tree, as the old listing said?
No, and the old title was wrong. This tree is banded in six colours from purple at the top to red at the bottom, exactly as the manufacturer's photographs show. We have corrected the title so what you see is what arrives.
