The nine modes, named
The full list is published rather than summarised: warm white steady on, colour steady on, warm white slow fade, colour slow fade, warm white and colour slow flash, warm white and colour quick flash, warm white and colour slow fade, warm white and colour slow bright and fade, and combination. Six of the nine mix warm white with colour, which is the part most colour changing trees do not offer.
Three sections and hinged branches
The tree separates into three parts plus the stand. Hinged branches stay attached to the pole and fold out as each section is raised, so the only manual work is spreading the tips afterwards.
What fluffing actually involves
The manufacturer photographs the job rather than hiding it. Branches get bent outward and upward by hand after the sections go together, which is what turns a folded cone into a tree with depth.

We do not print a figure. The manufacturer describes the tree as full bodied with many branch tips but publishes no count for either, and we will not estimate one.
