Decorating a big tree from scratch
A seven foot tree eats ornaments
The bigger the tree, the more it takes to fill. Boxes of baubles, a few metres of garland, and it still looks bare in the gaps between the branches. That is the hidden cost of going up a size.
Seventy six clusters already on it
This one arrives pre-decorated: 76 clusters of red berries, natural pine cones and artificial foliage worked into the branches, plus 460 warm white bulbs. The gaps are already filled, so whatever you add is for the look rather than the coverage.
Four leaf types on one tree is unusual and it is the main reason to choose this one. Each type does a different job, and together they stop the tree reading as a single moulded texture.
Four leaves and what is tucked among them
The circles name each element: PVC leaves in different shades of green, frosted pine needles, plain pine needles, and 76 clusters of red berries with natural pine cones and artificial foliage. That combination is what gives the tree its unevenness at close range.
Seven and a half feet, and the floor
7.5 ft tall, 3.3 ft across, on a 20 inch base. That is narrower than a full profile tree of the same height, so it suits a room that wants the height without giving up four feet of floor. Allow around nine feet of ceiling once a topper is on.
Eight modes from a button on the adapter
The modes are listed in full and the control is shown: a button on the adapter itself rather than a separate box or a remote. That means the adapter needs to end up somewhere you can reach, which is worth thinking about before you position the tree.
Four sections, hinged
The frame splits into four. Branches stay hinged to their pole so each section opens as it is raised, and the crossed metal base has anti-slip pads underneath. One person can put it up, though a second helps with the top section.

Who is this perfect for?
People who would rather not buy ornaments
Berries, cones and foliage are already worked in.
Rooms with height but not width
7.5 ft tall on a 3.3 ft spread is a narrow profile for the height.
Anyone who looks closely at a tree
Four leaf types is what holds up when people stand next to it.

Frequently asked questions
What are the four leaf types?
PVC leaves in different shades of green, frosted pine needles and plain pine needles, per the manufacturer's own graphic. Mixed on the same branch they give the tree more than one texture, which is what stops it looking stamped out.
Are the berries and cones fixed to the tree?
Yes. The manufacturer counts 76 clusters of red berries, natural pine cones and artificial foliage on this size, worked into the branches rather than clipped on.
Where is the light control?
On the adapter itself: a button that cycles the eight modes. There is no remote, so put the adapter somewhere you can reach once the tree is in place.
What ceiling height does 7.5 feet need?
About nine feet once a topper is on. Guides advise keeping roughly twelve inches of clear air above the tip.
