A lit shape in the front garden usually means a ladder, a bush to wrap, several strings, and an afternoon of finding out which one does not work. Then it has to come down again in January.
A lit shape that stands on its own
This one is the shape and the lighting in a single object. The spiral coils carry the LEDs, the metal pole holds them up, and four ground stakes pin the base into a lawn. The manufacturer rates the coils IP44, which is protection against splashing water.
A spiral tree is bought for a different reason from a needled one. It is an outline in light, meant to be seen after dark from a distance, and this one is built with that in mind.
What makes it an outdoor piece
Two things are called out. Four stakes that pin the base to the ground, and the PVC coils themselves, rated IP44 by the manufacturer, which covers splashing water from any direction. That is a rain rating rather than a submersion one.

Can it stay outside all December?
The manufacturer rates the coils IP44, which covers splashing water, and supplies four ground stakes for fixing it down. That is a rain rating rather than a snow burial rating, so clear heavy snow off it and keep the connection off the wet ground.
Do I need the app to use it?
No. Ten preset effects are on the switch. The Smart Life app adds custom modes if you want them, but the tree works without a phone.
Is there any foliage on it?
None. It is a spiral of lit coils around a metal pole with a star on top. That is the whole design, and it is why it takes so little ground.
How is it held down?
Four ground stakes are supplied for soft ground. On a hard surface it stands on its metal base, so put it somewhere sheltered from wind.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.
