Lay planters flat on a balcony and you run out of floor long before you run out of things you wanted to grow.
Grow upward instead
Five staggered troughs stack into a frame covering 22.5 by 29 inches. Each one steps forward of the last, so the row below still gets light.
The frame is powder coated iron in a triangular A shape with plastic foot pads. Each of the five boxes is moulded PP and holds about half a cubic foot of soil, rated by the manufacturer to 22 lbs with 8 inches of clearance above it.

It stands 48.5 inches tall on a base of 22.5 by 29 inches. Each trough is 19.5 by 7.5 inches with 6.5 inches of depth.
Water falls from tier to tier
A line of small holes runs along the bottom of each box, so water from the top trough reaches the next one down instead of pooling.

The triangular leg structure keeps the weight low, and plastic pads under the feet stop the frame marking a deck or a balcony floor.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
