Description
x5 Tier Industrial Bookshelf with Black Metal Frame
Five wide shelves between black steel uprights, braced with an X across the back, standing 63.5 inches tall.
44 lbs a shelf26 x 13.5 x 63.5 inchesX braced steel
An open metal frame has one weakness: it racks sideways when it is loaded. The X brace across the back of this one is the answer, and it is why each of the five shelves is rated for 44 lbs. The rest is simple. Painted steel, wide boards, no doors, nothing to go wrong.
Deep enough for a pantry
At 13.5 inches deep the shelves take storage jars two rows back, or stacked pans, or a bread basket. Gaps run around 12.5 inches with one taller gap of 14 inches, which clears most bottles and tall jars.
Twenty six inches of wall
The footprint is 26 inches across. Beside a desk that is just enough for books, a printer and a plant without crowding the chair. Two anti tipping devices come with it for fixing the frame to the wall behind.
A pair reads as one unit
Two frames together give you ten shelves across just over four feet of wall. Because the uprights are thin steel rather than wide board, the join between two units almost disappears from a few steps back.
What you get
44 lbs a shelf
The manufacturer's load rating for each of the five layers.
X shaped back brace
A steel cross brace that stops a tall open frame from going out of square.
Two anti tipping devices
Supplied for anchoring the frame to the wall before it is loaded.
13.5 inches deep
Deep enough for storage jars or box files, narrow enough for a hallway.
Anti slip foot pads
Pads under the legs protect the floor and stop the frame sliding.
Painted steel
The frame is fully painted, which helps it resist rust in a kitchen or a basement.
