Five feet, sixteen inches of floor
5 ft tall, 1.4 ft wide, on a 14 inch stand. Pencil trees usually run 19 to 23 inches across the bottom, so this one is narrower than most. Two pairs of gloves come in the box, which is generous for a tree this size.
Bullet tips and 150 bulbs
The top panel shows the tip shape: rounded and closed at the end rather than a flat cut blade, which is what the manufacturer calls a bullet shape. The lower panel shows the warm white bulbs among them and the adapter, which the manufacturer states is UL certified.
A stand that screws down
The metal stand folds and carries three screws that fix the trunk rather than just cradling it, with a pre-installed bolt so nothing has to be lined up. On a tall narrow tree the stand is doing more work than usual, so this matters.

Frequently asked questions
How narrow is it really?
1.4 ft at the widest branches, on a 14 inch stand. That is narrower than the 19 to 23 inches most pencil trees measure across the bottom, so it will fit a gap other slim trees will not.
What is a bullet shaped tip?
The manufacturer's term for a needle that is rounded and closed at the end rather than cut flat. It gives the foliage a slightly softer look at close range.
Will it hold ornaments?
Small and light ones. Branches on a pencil tree are short and close to the trunk, so heavy glass hangs awkwardly and pulls the branch down.
Why does the stand have screws?
To fix the trunk rather than just hold it. On a tall narrow tree the stand carries all the leverage, and three screws stop the trunk shifting in the socket.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.
