Description
x5 FT Pink Flocked Fir Christmas Tree with 432 Tips and 160 Warm White LEDs
The store title does not say so, but this tree is pink: a soft flocked pink over 432 branch tips, lit by 160 warm white LEDs. Warm white is the right choice on pink, since cool white pulls it towards mauve. It stands 5 ft tall and 2.4 ft wide with a 9.8 ft cord and eight lighting modes.

Pink under a wintry flocking
The close up shows how the colour is built: pink foliage with a white flocking over it, so the shade shifts between cool pink in the shadows and near white where the flocking sits heaviest. 432 tips is enough to keep a 2.4 ft wide tree looking full.
Five feet, and how far the cord goes
5 ft tall, 2.4 ft wide, 14 inch stand, with a power cord of 9.8 ft. That cord length is generous and worth checking against the distance to your outlet. A pair of gloves comes with it.
Eight modes and an IP44 controller
The modes are named in full: combination, in wave, sequential, slo glo, chasing and flash, slow fade, twinkle and flash, and steady on. The controller is rated IP44 by the manufacturer, which is a dust and splash rating rather than a licence to leave it out in the rain.
What you get
Pink flocked foliage
Pink needles under a wintry white flocking for a soft two tone finish.
432 branch tips
100% new PVC, described by the manufacturer as flame-retardant and smell-free.
160 warm white LEDs
Warm white keeps pink warm, where cool white would push it towards mauve.
Eight lighting modes
From combination and in wave through to a plain steady on.
IP44 light controller
The manufacturer rates the controller IP44 against dust and splashes.
Hinged branches
Branches fall into place as the tree is raised, on a folding metal stand.

Who is this perfect for?
Children's and teenagers' rooms
A pink tree is the one they will want in their own room.
Salons, boutiques and studios
Pink photographs well under warm light and is not what the shop next door has.
Second trees
Different enough from a green family tree that both can be up at once.

Frequently asked questions
Is this tree pink? The title does not say.
It is. The store title for this listing leaves the colour out, but every photograph and the manufacturer's own description call it a flocked pink design. We have put the colour in our title so nobody is surprised by the box.
Does IP44 mean I can use it outside?
No. IP44 is the manufacturer's rating for the light controller against dust and splashing water, not a rating for the tree. Health Canada advises keeping indoor rated decorations indoors.
Which ornaments look right on pink?
Gold, rose gold, clear glass and white. Red tends to fight with the pink and silver can disappear into the flocking.
Will the flocking shed?
A little at first setup, which the manufacturer says itself on its own care note. Open the branches out over a sheet and handle the inner branches rather than the tips.
