Shaggy green plush cut as a fir, with red baubles hung from the branches and a pale star on a spring at the top.
Just under four feet
Forty seven and a half inches on a base 23.5 inches square, with the maker printing 35 lbs beside the upper tier and 44 beside the lower. Two figures rather than one, which tells you where the big cat belongs without anyone having to guess at it.
Three tiers, two of them nests
The lower nest has an opening on two sides rather than one, so a cat can pass through it instead of backing out. That single detail is what decides whether a wary cat uses an enclosed space at all, particularly with a second cat in the house.
The trunk is the post
The section of trunk between the base and the lowest tier is wrapped for scratching, which puts the rope on the only route up. A cat pausing to climb is already standing at the post, and that is far more reliable than hoping it walks across the room to one.

Who is this perfect for?
Two cat households
The through nest at the bottom means neither cat can corner the other inside it, which is where a lot of household friction starts.
Households that decorate
Shaggy green with red baubles and a star. It reads as a small Christmas tree from the doorway rather than as a cat tower with tinsel added.
Owners who wash bedding
The covers detach, which on a piece made almost entirely of long pile plush is the only cleaning that actually works.
