Counting the four

Pulled apart on a terrace

The covers are quoted at 180 GSM over high density sponge, and each one unzips so it can be washed rather than scrubbed in place.

The back of each seat curves rather than running flat, which is what stops a rattan chair digging in between the shoulder blades.

Pads on the bottom of each leg keep the pieces put on wet decking and stop the steel marking a patio.

Will it fit a balcony?

Measure first. The loveseat alone is 43.5 in wide and 25 in deep, and the coffee table is 35 in by 18 in. Set out with everyone facing in, the four pieces take roughly 8 ft by 6 ft. On a narrow balcony, running all three seats along the railing with the table in front works better than a square.

Can it be left outside over winter?

PE rattan over steel handles the cold. Canadian patio guidance puts synthetic wicker in the leave-it-out group, though a cover keeps it looking newer for longer. The cushions are the part to deal with: get them fully dry and bring them indoors, because damp foam is what grows mildew, not the weave.

What happens if the cushions get rained on?

A shower is fine. A long soak is not, and that is true of nearly every outdoor cushion. Foam holds water for days once it is through. Stand them on edge to drain after rain, and put them away if a wet week is coming.

What are the load ratings?

The manufacturer prints 800 lb on the loveseat, 400 lb on each armchair and 165 lb on the tempered glass coffee table. One of their written descriptions says 397 lb for the chair instead of 400 lb.
