How big is the storage space really?
The box is a 26 in cube on the outside, so the usable space inside is a little less. It takes cushions, a folded blanket, a few toys and the odd tool. It is deck storage rather than shed storage.
Does the lid stay open on its own?
Yes. A buffered hydraulic rod holds it at about 49 in from the ground, so you can use both hands to load it.
Can I use just one loveseat and the box on a balcony?
Yes. Every piece stands on its own, and a 47.5 in loveseat plus the 26 in box is a complete balcony arrangement with somewhere to put a drink.
Is the wicker safe to rinse with a hose?
