Five troughs hanging on hooks across three staggered levels, each one lifting off when you want to replant it.

Replanting a built in tier means digging it out in place
Nowhere to work
When a trough is fixed into a frame, clearing out a finished crop means scraping soil at an awkward angle over the row below.
Lift the box off
Each of the five boxes hangs on hooks. Take one down, empty and refill it on a bench, then hook it back where it was.
The frame is a trapezoidal metal structure in rust proof paint, braced by two crossbars and carrying two built in handles. Five PE troughs sit on hooks, staggered so each has light, with four drain holes in every base.
Frame and box, measured
The frame covers 25.5 by 36 inches and stands 31 inches tall. Each trough measures 23.5 by 8.5 inches with 3.5 inches of soil depth.
Hooks, holes and flat packing
Four holes drain each box, the hooks make them removable, and the manufacturer shows the frame and boxes separating down for storage.
Sized for a porch
A footprint of 25.5 by 36 inches fits along a railing or against a wall, with the staggered tiers keeping every row out of the shadow above it.
What you get
Five removable troughs
Each 23.5 by 8.5 inches, hanging on hooks so they lift off for replanting.
Four drain holes per box
Water leaves each trough rather than sitting around the roots.
275 lb maximum
The manufacturer gives the loaded maximum for the whole frame as 275 lbs.
Two built in handles
Handles in the frame make it easier to shift once the boxes are off.
PE troughs
Moulded polyethylene the manufacturer rates weather resistant and hard to shatter.
31 inches tall
The top trough sits high enough to tend without bending far.
