That is the maker's own claim and it photographs it: the two chairs push neatly under the 44 in table. The table stands 26 in and the chairs are 31 in tall, so the arms clear the apron.

How is the glass held on?

Is 26 inches a normal table height?
It is a little below the usual 28 in to 30 in outdoor dining band. With chair seats to match it works, but do not expect an ordinary dining chair pulled up from elsewhere to sit at the right height.
