Water that sits
A solid outdoor tabletop holds rain. You come out in the morning to a film of water, wipe it off, and find rings and grit wherever a glass stood. Flat tops with a lip are the worst offenders.
A slatted top
The top on this table is slatted, so water drains through the gaps instead of pooling. It is HDPE, which does not absorb what runs over it, and the maker builds it on a reinforced X shaped structure rated 110 lb, so it is a seat at a push as well as a table.
Three pieces: two chaise recliners and one round side table. The chairs are moulded PP, slatted and hollowed so air moves through the surface, on six reinforced legs each and rated 400 lb. The table is HDPE with a slatted top on an X braced frame. All three pieces are plastics chosen for weather rather than looks, and nothing in the set needs oiling or covering.
The numbers
Each recliner is 75 in long and 23 in wide with the back between 11 in and 33 in. The table is 18 in across and 18 in high. Patio planning guides ask for about 30 in of walking room around a group this size, and roughly 6 ft to 8 ft between facing seats.
Five positions each
11 in flat to 33 in upright in five steps, set independently on each chair, so one person can sit up with a coffee while the other lies out in the sun.
Underneath
Six reinforced legs per chair and a support bar behind each back. The slatted deck drains rather than pooling, which on a moulded chair also means there is no tray of water to tip down your leg when you sit down after a shower.
Where it goes
HDPE does not take up water, so the freeze thaw cycle that splits wood and concrete does nothing to it. The guidance for the material is to leave it where it is over winter and brush heavy snow off for the sake of the hardware rather than the plastic.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
