One table, three different afternoons
A plain top only does one job
Drawing needs paper, chalk needs a board and bricks need a lip to stop them rolling off. Most tables do one of the three.
A top that turns over and lifts out
One face is a white board, the other a blackboard, and lifting the panel out reveals a deep well for blocks. Three setups from the same piece of furniture.
Natural wood effect MDF with orange fabric drawers, which the manufacturer lists as ASTM, CPSIA and CPC certified. Each chair has its own drawer under the seat and a footrest bar so a child's feet are not left hanging. The table itself holds a storage box under the lift out top.
Chalk on one side
Turn the panel over and the top becomes a blackboard the size of the whole table. It takes chalk and wipes back with a damp cloth, which saves a wall and a roll of paper.
What the numbers come to
The table is 24.5 inches square and 19 inches high. Chair seats sit 10.5 inches up with a 21 inch back, and each fabric drawer measures 10 by 9.5 by 5 inches.
Lift the panel for the well
Take the top out and there is a deep tray underneath. Blocks go straight in at the end of the session, and the panel drops back on to hide them.
