A woven seat in the same frame
The seat and back here are hand woven from round PE rattan strung across an acacia frame. The weave flexes under you, air passes through it, and water goes straight down instead of sitting in a pool. The frame is still solid wood and still rated 400 lb.
The weave runs in several shades of brown, which is what stops the set looking like a single slab of wood.
