Can the covers really go in the machine?
The manufacturer says so: the cover has a hidden zipper and is easy to take off and rinse by hand or machine. Wash the cover on its own, keep the sponge out of the drum, and air dry it out of direct sun.
How much will the little table hold?
Two hundred and twenty pounds, which is far more than an 18 in side table usually claims. It is the maker's figure, not ours, but it means a heavy planter or a cooler is not a problem.
Is the seat high enough to get out of easily?
Sixteen inches to the top of the cushion. That is lower than a dining chair at 18 in but well above a deep lounge sofa at 12 in, so most people stand up out of it without a push.
What happens to the acacia outdoors?
Left bare it weathers to a silver grey. Oil once or twice a season holds the warm colour. Either way keep the legs out of standing water and bring the cushions in dry for the winter.
