You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Built like a hand trolley rather than a box: 34 inches tall on a 21.5 by 16.5 inch footprint, with large 8 inch anti slip wheels and a full height push handle so one person can walk it down a flight of stairs. Rated 189 pints a day at 95F and 90% RH, 127 at 86F and 80%, and 68 on the AHAM 80F and 60% condition.
Commercial machines are heavy and shaped like crates. Two people, an awkward grip and a narrow stairwell is how they get dropped, and that is before anyone works out where the water is going to go.
It stands upright on 8 inch wheels with a full height handle, so it tilts back and rolls down a set of steps the way a sack barrow does. Once it is down there, the built-in pump sends the water 16 ft back up, so the stairs are a one way trip.
The tall shape earns its place twice over. It takes up a 21.5 by 16.5 inch patch of floor, which is less than most box shaped machines of this capacity, and it puts the display at chest height so you read it standing up. Stable supporting feet keep it planted once the wheels stop.

The headline 189 pints a day is measured at 95F and 90% relative humidity. At 86F and 80% it is 127 pints, and at 80F and 60%, the long standing AHAM condition, it is 68 pints. That last figure is the one closest to a Canadian basement. The panel also gives the working temperature range, 41F to 95F, and the power draw, 650W at 110V.
Read both numbers on this photo. The pump will push water 16 ft up and 16 ft along, which is what makes a basement with no floor drain workable. The hose that comes in the box, though, is only 3.3 ft. If you intend to reach a laundry tub across the room or a window well, budget for a longer length of hose to suit the run you have in mind.

On and off, up, down, and a wind key for the two fan speeds. The backlit screen shows the humidity it is reading and which speed is running, so there is nothing to interpret. Set a target anywhere between 30% and 80% and leave it. Auto defrost keeps the coil clear when the space is at the cool end of its range.
This is the photo that sells the shape. Large 8 inch wheels with anti slip tread take steps and thresholds without a second person. The handle runs the full height of the cabinet so the weight stays over the axle. When you set it down, two supporting feet stop it rolling away on a sloped garage floor.

Moves water up to 16 ft vertically and 16 ft along, so the machine does not have to sit next to a drain.
189 pints a day at 95F and 90% RH, 127 at 86F and 80%, and 68 pints on the AHAM 80F and 60% condition.
41F to 95F. Useful to know before you put a compressor machine in an unheated space, because below that it defrosts more than it dries.
Run it hard in an empty space, quieter where people are working. The panel shows which speed is selected.
Clears frost off the coil at the cool end of the range rather than letting it build into a block that stops airflow.
Detachable and washable, so there is no cartridge to reorder. In a warehouse or garage it needs doing often.
68 lbs on large anti slip wheels with a full height handle and stable supporting feet. One person can move it between floors.
110V, 60Hz at 650W. An ordinary grounded Canadian outlet, though at that draw it should not share a circuit with other heavy loads.

The trolley shape and 8 inch wheels are the reason to pick this over a box. One person gets it down the stairs and back up again.
The manufacturer rates coverage to 7,500 sq ft. The small footprint means it takes a corner rather than an aisle.
16 ft of lift covers a basement up to a ground floor sink. Add a longer hose if the run across the room is more than 3.3 ft.
That is the manufacturer's published range. A space that drops toward freezing needs a desiccant machine instead.

Only if the drain is right beside the machine. The pump itself will move water 16 ft up or 16 ft along, but the hose supplied is 3.3 ft. Work out where the water is going before it arrives, and buy a length of hose to match. That is the single most common surprise with a pumped unit.
They describe the same machine at three test conditions. 189 pints a day is at 95F and 90% relative humidity, 127 at 86F and 80%, and 68 at 80F and 60%, which is the long standing AHAM industry condition and the closest of the three to a real basement. Always check the condition attached to a number before comparing two machines.
Yes, on a flat floor and down or up a normal set of steps. It weighs 68 lbs, stands 34 inches tall on 8 inch anti slip wheels, and has a full height handle so the weight sits over the axle. Two supporting feet hold it still once you set it down.
The manufacturer gives an applicable range of 41F to 95F (5C to 35C). Below that a compressor dehumidifier spends more of its run time on the defrost cycle than on removing water. For an unheated Canadian garage in winter, a desiccant machine is the right type.
