The problem this solves
What usually goes wrong
A fire truck with a moulded plastic hose is a fire truck for about a week. Once a child works out that nothing comes out of it, it becomes an ordinary ride on with a red paint job.
How this one answers it
This one holds real water. Fill the tank on the back, attach and secure the hose, and the handle on the gun pumps it out. That turns the whole toy into a summer garden game rather than a lap of the patio, and the shovel and wrench give it something to do the rest of the year.
Red fire engine bodywork with yellow and black chequer striping, a roof beacon, a shovel and a wrench on the flanks and a water tank behind the seat.
Fire engine shape
A high cab with a beacon on the roof, chequer striping along the sills and a rescue panel above the windscreen. The proportions follow a real engine rather than a car with a ladder stuck on.
How the water works
Three steps on the maker's own panel: add water to the tank, attach and secure the hose, then pull and push the handle on the gun. It is a hand pump rather than a motorised one, so nothing drains the battery.
How much room it takes
34 in long, 20.5 in wide and 20 in tall, which is compact for a ride on with a tank on the back. The seat inset sits on the same drawing.
Who is driving
Independent driving gives a child two speed settings, a steering wheel, a foot pedal and forward and backward buttons. The parent remote holds three variable speeds.

Who is this perfect for?
Summer gardens
A fillable tank and a hand pumped gun turn a hot afternoon on the lawn into a game with a point to it, and the wheels are rated for grassland.
Children who like tools
A moulded shovel and wrench clip to the flanks, which keeps the toy going once the water is gone.
Parents who want the speed down
The published range reaches 5 mph, so the remote's three variable speeds and the soft start both matter here.
What we stand behind
- Speed, motor ratings and dimensions are the manufacturer's published figures.
- The published top speed of 5 mph is faster than an adult walks. Use the remote's three settings and keep it in hand.
- No age range and no weight capacity is published for this model, so neither is stated.
- The water gun is hand pumped. No pressure figure or spray distance is published.
- A toy for supervised play on private property. Never on a road, a sidewalk or a bike path.
Frequently asked questions
Does the water gun really work?
Yes. The tank takes water, the hose attaches to it and the handle on the gun is pumped by hand. No spray distance is published.
How fast does it go?
1.6 to 5 mph on the manufacturer's own figure. The remote has three variable speeds and there are two settings on the truck itself.
What age is it for?
The manufacturer does not publish an age range or a weight capacity for this model, so we cannot state one. It measures 34 in by 20.5 in by 20 in.
What comes with it?
The truck, a water tank and gun with a hose, a shovel and a wrench, plus the parent remote.
What surfaces suit it?
Carpet, asphalt road, brick road and grassland, on anti skid puncture proof wheels.
