Description
x12V Kids Ride On Excavator with Adjustable Digging Bucket, Locking Arm Hook, Slow Start and Adult Only Remote, Yellow
A 45 in yellow digger whose arm is held in place by a hook while the bucket is worked from a control lever beside the seat. The manufacturer publishes a speed of 1.6 to 2.2 mph, a slow start and a 2.4G remote it states is for adults only. LED headlights, a horn, radio, MP3 and a simulated chimney complete it.

The digger arm that will not stay up
A loose arm is a floppy arm
An arm that only pivots drops back to the ground the moment the child lets go. Every scoop has to be held, which is tiring and makes the toy feel cheap within a week.
A hook holds the position
The manufacturer supplies an extra hook that fixes the arms where the child sets them, while the bucket itself is worked through a control lever. Set the height, then play with the bucket angle without the whole arm sagging.
Site yellow with black wheels, a moulded chimney behind the seat and a grey bucket out front.
How it is laid out
The bucket and arm run forward from the nose, the seat sits behind them, and a moulded chimney stands up behind the driver. Everything a child works is within reach of the seat.
The space it needs
45 in long, 23 in wide and 23.5 in tall. The seat measurements are marked on the same drawing. A digger this long wants a driveway or a wide path rather than a small patio.
The remote, and who uses it
The maker labels this handset as being for adults only. It carries an emergency brake, speed selection and direction. The slow start curve beside it shows the digger easing away rather than snatching.
The media unit
A wireless connection, radio, music, a horn, an MP3 socket and a USB port, on a panel mounted below the wheel. There is a simulated chimney at the back for the look of it and LED headlights at the front.
What this excavator does
Hook fixed arm
An extra hook holds the arm where it is set, so the bucket can be worked without the arm sagging.
Lever operated bucket
A control lever beside the seat hauls and digs with the bucket.
Adult only remote
The 2.4G handset has three speeds, direction control and an emergency brake, and the maker states it is for adults.
Slow start
A measured pull away from standing, charted on the manufacturer's own panel.
Published speed
1.6 to 2.2 mph, which the maker describes as a safe speed for a child.
Lights, radio and USB
LED headlights, a horn, radio, MP3, a USB port and a wireless connection.

Who is this perfect for?
Children who want to pose the arm
A hook that holds the arm turns a floppy toy into one that stays where it is put.
Driveways and wide paths
45 in long with a bucket out front. It needs room to turn and firm ground under it.
Parents who want the brake
The remote is labelled for adults only and carries an emergency brake as well as three speeds.
What we stand behind
- The speed, the dimensions, the control layout and the remote functions are all from the manufacturer's own record and panels.
- This record publishes no age range and no weight limit, so we state neither. That is a real gap on a toy for children.
- The manufacturer labels the remote for adult use only, and we repeat that.
- No run time, charge time or bucket load is published, so none is claimed.
- A toy for supervised play on private property. Never on a road, a sidewalk or a bike path.
Frequently asked questions
What age is this for?
The manufacturer does not publish an age range or a weight limit for this model, so we will not invent one. Ride-on guides put a 12 V digger of this size in the three to six year band as a rule of thumb. Ask us before ordering if the fit matters.
Can the bucket carry sand?
No load figure is published for the bucket on this record, so we cannot promise a weight. The arm and bucket are shown being posed and worked rather than being loaded up.
How does the arm stay up?
An extra hook holds the arms where they are set. The bucket angle is then worked separately from a control lever beside the seat.
How fast is it?
1.6 to 2.2 mph, which is a gentle walking pace. The maker adds a slow start so it does not lurch away when the pedal goes down.
Who uses the remote?
The manufacturer states plainly that the 2.4G remote is for adults only. It carries three speeds, direction control and an emergency brake.
