What is the difference between PE and PVC needles?

PVC needles are cut from flat sheet and fringe out along the wire, which is how artificial trees get their density cheaply. PE needles are moulded in a shape closer to a real needle, so they catch light on a curved surface. How much room does it need on the floor?

It spreads 4.3 feet across at the bottom branches, over a folding base of 3.7 feet. Measure a circle of about four and a half feet and keep the back branches clear of a curtain or a radiator.

Is 800 lights enough for a twelve foot tree?
