Eight, laid out three to a side with one at each end, which is how the photos show it. Dining guides allow 24 in to 27 in of table edge per person for everyday meals. Three places across 75 in works out at about 25 in each, so it is honest seating rather than a squeeze.
What colour is the weave?
Grey. Every photo on this listing shows mixed grey PE wicker with acacia wood on the top and armrests. The written colour field on the record says mix brown, which does not match the photography. Go by the photos.
Is sand supplied for the base?
No. The base is a 36.5 in square tray 6 in deep that takes sand or water. Sand is the better fill because it weighs more for the same volume and does not have to be drained before a freeze. Play sand or paver sand from any hardware store works.
Do the chairs slide under the table?
Not fully. The backrests stand 32 in tall and the tabletop sits at 29 in, so the chairs pull up close but the backs stay proud of the edge. Allow around 2 ft behind each chair for pushing back, and 3 ft where someone walks behind a seated guest.
