Why a twin canopy over a rectangular table
Round shade over a long table
Most patio umbrellas throw a circle of shade. A rectangular table that seats eight is nothing like a circle, so the corners and the end seats fall outside it. Guests end up trading places as the sun moves.
Two canopies on one pole
The frame carries a canopy on each side of the pole and opens to 15 ft overall. The shade is long rather than round, which is the shape a 71 in table actually needs. One crank raises both halves together.
Brown sits closest to the acacia top of the table, so the canopy reads as part of the set rather than as an accessory parked on top of it.
What the ten pieces are
One rectangular table with acacia slats and a hole through the middle, eight armchairs in black PE rattan with navy cushions, and the twin canopy umbrella that stands in the hole. Three chairs down each long side, one at each end. The brown of the canopy carries the warm tone of the tabletop upwards.
How far the shade actually reaches
Taken from above and behind, so you can see the whole footprint at once. The canopy spreads over the rug, the table and every chair, with room to spare at both ends. Nothing is tucked in to make it fit the frame. This is what 15 ft of span looks like against a 71 in table.
One pole, one crank
From the side the pole and its crank handle are clear. A twin canopy weighs more than a single, so a crank rather than a pull cord is what makes it a one person job. Both halves open together.
Evening use
Dusk, house lights on behind. The canopy stays up and the table stays usable after the sun goes. There is no wiring and no solar panel in this set, so lighting is whatever you bring to the table.

Two weighted bags sit on the stand and hold up to 180 lb filled. Sand is not supplied, so pick it up locally.
1.96 in umbrella hole
The hole is cut to the pole, so the umbrella sits square through the table rather than rattling in an oversized opening.
Rated loads on the label
The dimension drawing gives 400 lb for each armchair and 165 lb for the tabletop, which is more than most sets bother to publish.
PE rattan over metal
The weave is polyethylene rattan on a metal frame. It does not absorb rain the way natural cane does and it does not mind a freeze.

How wide is the shade compared with the table?
The canopy spans 15 ft. The table is 71 in long, a little under 6 ft. That leaves roughly 4 ft of canopy past each end of the table, which is what covers the chairs at the ends. Height is 8 ft, so people walk under it standing up.
Does the umbrella base come filled?
No. The stand arrives with two empty weighted bags and you fill them yourself, up to 180 lb between them. Play sand from any hardware shop does the job. Fill them once the umbrella is standing where you want it, because 180 lb does not move easily.
What happens to the cushions in the rain?
The covers unzip and come off, which is the part that matters. Outdoor cushion guidance is consistent: polyester covers shed a shower but soak through in a long soak, and wet foam holds damp for days. Stand them on edge to drain after rain and bring them in if a wet week is forecast.
How much patio does this set need?
The table alone is 71 in by 35 in. Layout guides ask for about 3 ft of clear floor on every side of a dining table so chairs can pull back and people can walk behind them. That works out at roughly 12 ft by 9 ft of usable deck or patio, and the 15 ft canopy will overhang past that.
