x10 Feet Offset Hanging Umbrella with Base and Infinite Tilt-Beige
One locking handle on the post does two jobs on this beige offset umbrella. Loosen it and move it up or down, and the canopy tilts to whatever angle you stop at. Loosen it and turn, and the canopy rotates round the post. The 10 foot canopy is 180 gsm polyester on eight metal ribs, opens on a crank and hangs 6.5 feet above the ground.

Three settings are never the right one
Notched tilts never quite fit
Most umbrellas tilt to two or three fixed angles. The sun is always somewhere in between, so the shade lands half on the table and half on the lawn.
Stop wherever you like
This one tilts without notches. Loosen the locking mechanism, move the handle until the shade sits where you want it, and lock it. The same lock lets the canopy swing round the post.
Hung from a curved arm
The whole design is visible here. A post on one side, a curved arm arching over, and the beige canopy hanging from its end. The crossed metal base at the foot comes with it; the weights that hold it down do not.
Over a sofa by a wall
Tucked against a stone wall, the arm carries the canopy over a whole sectional while the post stands at one end. The caption on the photo repeats the key point: a weighted base is required and is not included.
One handle, two movements
The close up names the steps: loosen the locking mechanism, then move the handle up and down to tilt. The arrow at the foot shows the other movement, a full turn round the post. Both are done at chest height.

Frequently asked questions
How much shade does it give, and how much headroom?
The canopy is 10 feet across and the drawing puts its underside 6.5 feet off the ground, with the top of the arm at 8 feet. The manufacturer draws it beside a 6 foot figure, who clears it comfortably. Closed, it stands about 6 feet tall.
Are the sandbags or weights included?
No. A crossed metal base is included and the listing says it needs sandbags or a weighted base, not included, to hold it down. No weight is published, so fill or load it generously: a side post umbrella carries its canopy off centre.
How does the tilt work exactly?
Loosen the locking mechanism on the post, then move the handle up or down. The canopy follows and stays at whatever angle you lock it. There are no fixed notches.
What about wind and winter?
The manufacturer asks you to close it in severe weather. Crank it down, fasten the loop strap and, for winter, let it dry fully before storing it somewhere dry.
