Bare frame under your calves
Plenty of cushioned loungers fit a seat pad that covers the middle and leaves the foot end bare. Lying out, your calves are on the frame, and if the frame is woven you feel every strand of it.
Full length padding
The cushion supplied here runs the whole length of the chair, so there is no bare section at either end. It is held by what the maker calls a secure fit design so it does not creep down the frame, and the cover unzips for washing.
