The drawing is headed suitable bar height, 40 in to 43 in, and marks the seat at 29 in. The product title calls these counter height barstools. A 29 in seat under a 36 in counter would leave 7 in of thigh room, which does not work, so treat the title as a slip and the drawing as the instruction.
