Description
xSet of 2 Swivel Windsor Dining Chairs with Spindle Back, Natural Rubber Wood
A Windsor chair with a seat that rotates through 360 degrees, which is rare in solid wood and means nobody has to drag a chair back to reach the table. The back leans at 105 degrees and an X brace sits under the swivel plate.

Chairs that have to be dragged
Getting up means shoving the chair back
On a hard floor every trip to the kitchen means pushing a chair back and dragging it in again, which marks the floor and wakes the room.
The seat turns instead
Each seat rotates a full circle on its own plate, so you swing out rather than shoving the chair backwards.
A Windsor chair that turns.
How the swivel works
The seat turns on a plate above the fixed legs, so the chair stays where it is while you move.
The back
The spindles lean at 105 degrees and the support rods are thickened where the back meets the seat.
Frame and joints
Solid rubber wood with an X shaped reinforcement under the seat and a splinter free finish.
Pale and plain
Natural rubber wood keeps a country shape from looking heavy in a small room.
