Description
xSet of 2 Curved Back Swivel Counter Stools in Espresso, 24 Inch Seat
The back on this one is a single curved panel on two posts, tipped back 97 degrees so it meets your shoulder blades rather than standing upright behind you. The seat is a 16 in round pad that turns beneath it.
24 in seat height97 degree back6 in footrest ring286 lb each
A shaped timber back over a turning pad, at counter height.
Twenty four to the seat
Twenty four inches is the bottom of the counter stool band, which makes this the right pick for a 35 in or 36 in counter and a poor one for anything taller. The whole stool stands 37 in, so the back clears a standard overhang when you push it in.
At a 36 inch counter
Under a 36 in top a 24 in seat gives 12 in of thigh clearance, which is the figure most people find comfortable. Push it back and the 37 in overall height keeps the crest just below the counter edge on most builds.
The angle and the ring
Ninety seven degrees is a small lean, roughly the difference between sitting upright and resting. It suits eating, which is what a counter stool does most. The footrest is a closed ring 6 in up, so it is there wherever the seat happens to be facing.
Pad, frame and pads
Pressing the seat shows the sponge give under the coated cover. Below it the four legs splay out to a 14.5 in base, tied by the footrest ring, and every leg end carries a pad so the frame does not mark a tiled or timber floor.

What we stand behind
- The 24 in seat height, 37 in overall height, 16 in seat, 17.5 in back width, 6 in footrest and 286 lb capacity come from this listing's own drawing. The 97 degree back angle comes from its written copy.
- The drawing also prints a 17 in back measurement. It cannot be the height above the seat, since 37 in overall less a 24 in seat leaves 13 in, so it is not repeated as one here.
- Two hundred and eighty six pounds is a lower rating than most stools in this range carry.
- No swivel bearing type or cycle rating is published.
- Ships from our United States warehouse, free shipping over $150, and 14 day returns unused in the original packaging.
Frequently asked questions
What counter height does it suit?
Thirty five to 39 in on the drawing, and 35 in to 36 in is where a 24 in seat is happiest.
How far does the back stand above the seat?
About 13 in, taking the drawing's 37 in overall height less its 24 in seat height.
Is there a taller version?
Yes, the same stool is listed with a 29 in seat for 40 in to 43 in bars.
What is the weight limit?
Two hundred and eighty six pounds per stool, which is the manufacturer's stated figure.
